Will the keys listed here:

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/eval ... 53205.aspx

work with the latest windows 7 build? Im putting it on the GF's laptop and don't want it to just stop working one day. I figure using a legitimate key is the best way to prevent this?... Other than the timebomb, but thats what? A year away?

Thanks

The Windows 7 Beta 1 key (s) will work for the latest builds of Windows 7 and should activate successfully.

If the trend is that same as vista, these keys would work with RC and pre-RTM as well.

My original key just worked/activated on build 7100 if this is indeed the RC version.

My 7077 box wouldn't take a Beta key I fed it. Said there was a "problem during the activation process" or something.

If Windows 7 is anything like Vista (lol), then x86 and x64 keys are the same.

Not when I tried it with one of the betas, really annoyed me once.

Every key should work they, kept the same key system apparently, and all of the keys made public (and a few more) are on a topic on BA so anyone here has access to many if they did not write theirs down/get one originally.

Not quite sure about others, but I have 10 5 (8 3, already used 2) unique product keys for Windows 7 from my Ecosystem Connect.

So if any of the beta keys wont let you activate for 7077 or 7100, let me know and I'll give you one. (Pending on your user status, not handing out to 1 posters)

Edit: Make that 5 Keys, 3 to be handed out.

You can use keys unlimited times if you want :P. If they are not already in http://betaarchive.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=896&start=200 you could post them so anynone can access them if needed.
