Hello, I have a notebook ASUS N10J, I can istall there only Windows XP SP2 or latter, so I can install there only Longhorn build 4066 and 4074 (I don't tried 4093), If I try to install earlier build (I don't know this about builds 3718,3706,3683), after the first restart in instalation Longhorn don't wont to boot(No BSOD, only black screen and after - the computer shutdown). Do you know how to solve this problem ? Sorry for my english.

Did you change the BIOS date before installing the build?

Yeah, not changing the BIOS date can cause weird problems. For example, not changing the BIOS date in 4039 will cause the BIOS to freeze after install

or will freeze if you log on. if you dont know the bios date to install longhorn 4039 you could go here viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3085
and btw longhorn build 3718 wim pack(Customized by hounsell),4074,4066,4093 doesn't need to change your bios date so you dont have problem with that

Yes, I have instaled it with correct bios date supposed to build 4028. This is not the prove why it doesn't boot.
