According to SoLoR and torrents.ru, the woman who gave us 7068 has her hands on both the x86 and x64 builds of 7077. She is just deciding on which version to release first, and one of them should be out some time today or tonight.

Yeah, I think that would be a safe assumption. Apparently Microsoft Russia is leakier than a russian submarine. :P

lol, no. You x86ers usually get the first leak. I think it's x64s turn. I hope anyway.

LOL, I'm both, but I can't fully move on to x64 until all of my software are x64 compatible.

Yeah, actually, I'm both too. My laptop is 64-bit capable, but I run 32 bit on it, since it only has 1GB RAM and a Core2Duo. However, my desktop, which is my main use machine, has 8GB and a Core2Quad...which is why I want 64 bit first. 8)

According to SoLoR...x86 is the first leak :(

He has the torrent now...not sure if I am allowed to post the build string, but google doesn't show anything yet anyway.

That's the most stupid thing I have ever heard.
Everything that does works on 32-bit OS's (and NOT using the 16-bit subsystem) works on 64-bit.

Off-course you can always make an shortcut to the desktop to the 32-bit explorer.exe and then everything that is executed in that window (just go to the right folder and double-click the .exe you want) and it executes its as 32-bit.

I'm afraid there is a substantial number of applications (which I use on a regular basis) that will not run under X64 XP or Vista. But I run an Athlon xp still, so I can't go X64 anyway.

did you try iTunes sync with the iPhone under x64 windows systems, it totally doesn't work, maybe they say iTunes supports x64, but trust me it doesn't.

Gave me a good laugh:p.

I am hoping that x64 is first :D.

And iTunes sync does work on 64 bit perfectly fine.

Downloading it atm ~500kb/s. And at least it is x86. :)
I will let it to down/upload during night.

Also it's quite intresting how the builds leak so fast. (H)

Downloading build 7077.0.090404-1255 (bla bla) from Mininova as we speak... it's gonna take a miracle to download it before it's overfilled with leechers though.

I really don't get why everyone is upset of x86 leaks. A leak is better than no leaks, unless you are MS.

Saying that you'd rather the x64 build is basically saying "rather than get a build that everyone can use, we'd rather get a build that only we can use".
Like XDude said, its a leak, better than nothing.
