Is there anyone here daring to fix this abomination of a release? Since the "allSKU" is a custom hackjob (and a bad one at that, UltraISO tags in the file anyone?) is there anyone here that can fix this to be a more legitimate "Ultimate" release? I removed the file from BA since we want original releases, not custom mods. I want to add a x86 release to the server again, but since Microsoft never released an "allSKU" release I can't. I know any further changes to this ISO will not make it an untouched version, but by restoring the files as Microsoft make them we can make it more or less identical.

I don't keep track of where on the disc the "SKU" info is stored. I can remake the ISO as long as I know where to change the value back to a proper "Ultimate".

The file you are looking for is ei.cfg. Here is one that has not been tampered with: http://www.mediafire.com/?myozrl2bdzd
It need to be at (ISO):\sources

Maybe I got one that is untouched and complete.

All dates are on 22 march 2009 at 07:34.

But how to test where that UltraISO thing tag is stored so I can make it out of it's hacked or not (At least this hacked file).

You can tell if it is original or not. Simply open ei.cfg with notepad and it should look like this if it is original:
[EditionID]
Ultimate
[Channel]
Retail
[VL]
0

(there need to be a blank line above)
If it does not look like that or the file is missing entirely, then it is not original.

It's there all right.

But I meant where were the UltraISO tags in the other .iso.
If they are not present there it's original.

But anyway, it installs correct and runs great.

Rob's sent me an untouched torrent, so I'm downloading it to the M1 server as I speak :)

All you need to do is usually look at the beginning of the ISO file. You'll see the regular Microsoft tags but also an UltraISO tag. Open it up in some editor and search for UltraISO and you'll see :).

Got the ISO and added to M1.
it has the ei.cfg and has CDIMAGE 2.54 iirc as the ISO builder, so looks like the genuine thing :)
