There is build tag in MS's OSes such as Build 2250.main.000628-2110, and it contains time.
But which time zone is it? Is it GMT or the U.S. West time?

(Sorry for my bad English.)

It has nothing to do with the time zone.

It only says when it was compiled, and if you install it you must install it after this date.

What I meant is:
the build tag says 000628-2210 and is it U.S. time?
Does it compiled 2000.06.28 22:10 in U.S. time or GMT?

My guess is that since Microsoft is Redmond based which is in Pacific time, their compilers are probably running in Pacific time (In order to minimize any potential time/date related problems with installing a freshly compiled OS)

But then again, I'm not certain, If I'm ever up there again I'll be sure to ask around.
