Well I found out :

"It’s unclear if the testers are already given product key to activate Windows 7 beta builds"

Every product since Vista RTM, Like Vista, 7 Alpha/Beta, Office and so on, do no require a key to install.
And it works fully for 30 or 60 days, until with Vista and 7, you need to rearm.

They key that was given me was just the key in the \sources\PRODUCT.INI, then the Ultimate key.

Just checked, the date is in 2010, way past it expire date, and it still works!.
Most Alpha/Beta let you only enter in reduced functionality.

Check this just taken:
Image

It only says that this copy of windows is not genuine.

EDIT:
Tested in 2010, it will work only nagging screens about genuine windows, but nothing has been locked down.
Then to today's date, it will ask you to activate, but you can SKIP it, and it will log-in with nagging screens, but will even open up Windows Update and updates the machine (no updates available at this time).
The screen will be black, but you can the background esaly.

The version is available everywhere, this one here is untouched (most of the time) the ones from torrents and so on can be modified versions, meaning stuff has been added.

But for getting in, just wait until Andy has the time to approve you (wich shouldn't a problem with you're post count and posts ).

It won't. It's been like that with Vista SP1 and Server 2008. Microsoft no longer lock you out, you just get nag messages and they may remove your wallpaper. That's all.

And you can put the wallpaper back.
