Bit pointless really, but only today noticed the superbar is rather clever with the colour it displays when opening a program... it seems to pick the colour from the icon - cleverness!

I saw a video a few days ago, from PDC, they explained that it detects the most prominent color...
One of my favorite features.

anyone ever notice if you click an item in the superbar with the scroll button it lights up and makes a new window? (at least thats what it does for minefield)

Maybe due to that he resives also openoffice documents or something like that (Office 2007 cannot read them).

Because it's a testbed PC. I just through all the apps i can think of on there, to see how things cope.

I do use both at work too though; mainly because I do receive odt and such files aswell as docx.

Also if you hold shift and right click a button on the superbar it allows you to run the app as a different user option

also, it closes a window when you click the thumbnail with your middle mouse button
