In windows seven, when i am playing l4d or tf2, all of the sound is too low, they work fine in vista, same problem between a usb and an analog headset. i think it has something to do with the many sound codecs that come with windows 7. is there a way to fix it?

Check in the Sound Mixer. Make sure the games are not lowered.

Is it not going to a different device/output

Apart from that, anyone else got suggestions?
