Is this possible, like Longhorn reloaded it has an textmode setup and not the normal WIM one. How can i convert it? And if it's possible can it be done to Vista's setup?

I don't think it's possible.

Because the Vista setup uses PE to begin install and the .wim file of Vista holds 7 bare Windows installations.
And the setup routine is completly different.

Okay, but the team of Longhorn reloaded has used build longhorn 4074 and that build had also an PE based installer normaly but the reloaded version of that build had an textmode setup but it was still build 4074.

Somthing you'l need to ask over at Joejoe...
Anyway, why don't you like the WIM based setup?

well yes it is possible... you can make a text mode setup... but it would take approximately 3 hours to install, if not more

Well next year i'm going to start with an new OS customization project where i'm going to use vista as base, but i'm just finding out if i could do it the same way as i did with windows xp to whistler 2008, because i've no idea how to do this with vista. And i like the WIM like installation ( nice and fast) but i dont know how to modify it.

Use ImageX from the WAIK. It will really help you a lot.

You'd be far better of learning how to deal with WIM images, than trying to convert Vista to a text based setup.
This is a pretty handy read.
You'll need to download the WAIK.
The doccumentation included in the WAIK is pretty much the best guide you'll find, somthing to bear in mind too.
