i have two hard drives, one running windows vista, and the other running windows seven, but in windows seven, i can't see the hard drive which windows vista installed on. all of my programs, and data, are on the vista hard drive. in windows vista, i see both hard drives.

I had the same problem. Go into Computer Management, click on Disk Management, right click on the hard drive that isn't showing up, and give it a Drive Letter. Then it will show up.

thanks!
but how come, i only get some of the device letters, i wanted to use D:, but it wasn't there, neither were some of the other drive letters.

'Tis a mystery. Maybe you already have a device using that letter against your will? If so I'm sure there's a way to change the device letter of things that aren't hard drives. Try Google.

Are both hard drives internal or is one on USB or firewire? And sometimes booting cold with it plugged in helps, this was the onlyway I could get my old win 2k to see my usb stick.
