it can be done,
follow the tutorial online http://articles.techrepublic.com.com/5100-10878_11-6160062.html

but use longhorn instead of xp

i would use a stick that is ATLEAST 4 gb, if you really want it to work though, just use a cheap laptop hdd, and a really cheap enclosure...
