There were loads of betas (codename "Cougar"), we got Beta 2, Beta 2 TR, RC0 and RC1 under the Connect programme (and I think some people got Beta 1 as well who were in earlier). They said an evaluation version of the RTM will be made available at some point so if it hasn't appeared online yet it should do soon.

Ok, if anyone have it, or can upload to BAs ftp, please let me know..

We are building some connectors for startforce and exchange/AD-LDAP, and i am to lazy to configure a full win2k8 server.

$3000 = MSDN
Technet is much cheaper but also less different versions = $700 or less for the online version only.

I've seen a bit of your startforce desktop thing and while I personally don't have much use for it, I see other people who would have a huge use for it, thus, for your own sake along with your users, take the time to properly configure the servers. Don't run it on beta or trial [censored] if you actually want to keep it alive for some time without facing problems.

Oh well in that case, OpenLDAP is much better than AD but only if you don't get rage when doing all the initial configuration :P

Well, with my other employees using the internet for more important things, I'm not gonna put it at full speed ( my employees use a lot of web resources ), so wait a while to get it up.
