Do we have a list of RTM service packs, like

2k sp4 = 5.00.2195.6995 (or whatever)
xp sp1 = 5.10.2600.1106
xp sp2 = 5.10.2600.2180
xp sp3 = 5.10.2600.5512

Thanks.

For Media Center Edition the full name of build 2600 SP2 is
Code:
Build 2600.xpsp.sp2_gdr.070227-2254 : Service pack 2

EDIT: I checked the number of a bunch of system files and the version number is 5.01.2600.2180
EDIT 2: NT 4.0 SP6=4.00.1381.7097

Going by that logic, shouldn't NT6's SP1 have had a build below 16386, since it's a sub-version of the major version - Instead, SP1 is identified as build 6001.18000, which is bizarre in Microsoft's normal naming scheme. Am I wrong?

Microsoft have started having build revisions starting at 16384 rather than 0 for some reason.

I don't know why either, but 16384 is 4000 in hex. Maybe there's something special about either of the two numbers?

apparently 16384 = 0 in microsoft now
it is also 2^14 which also means 100000000000000 in binary.

Do you have a picture? Wikipedia says the latest SP for NT 3.51 is SP5.

I wonder if Service pack 7 for NT4 ever leaked, they made one a few years ago now
for NASA, who was apparently using NT4 to run something on a space station, {scary thought that is}...

EDIT: Damn time flies, that article was 7 years ago now...

I did play around with a couple of iso's of NT4 sp7, but these were largely private builds.

I'm not at home so can't check what I've got but didn't they make an "Update Rollup" for it after SP6? Or was that another version alltogether?

If I remember correctly the planned NT4 SP7 got killed and ended up being SP6a Update Rollup
