I just finished downloading the Longhorn 4083 iso from the BA server, and I can't load the setup :(

Is the server copy corrupt, or is it just mine?

You've probably just got a bad download, I've downloaded that iso, and besides that build being boring, I had no problems.

isn't 4083 64bit? if it is, you are running a 64bit cpu/os/vpc right?

I have an AMD 64 3000+ (old, I know), but I'm not sure if it's running 64-bit in VMware though. I'll have to check later though :(

Well, even if VMWare is running in 32-bit mode.

You still need to select Windows XP Professional 64-bit edition.
In youre running VMWare workstation (enough torrents out there), then you get the warning.
