There are no new leaks.

The current ones are FAKE.
Read the comments on the torrents, and the 7.2.xxxx build is definatly fake.

It can that you have an already hacked version (untouched is here on the servers) so maybe you dont need to activate.

But the best thing to do, try it in VMWare/VPC then and set the date then you dont have the BSOD every two hours.

And for activating search the forum, on some it works but some not work.
But remember, the Windows 7 build is older then Windows Vista Service Pack 1 and Windows Server 2008.

And its not very stable with some options.

It depends, if you want real windows build that offical testers get, then the untouched one is the best for you.

But ''touched ones'' are just made with some fixes (let it work good and no activation), but for test is also good.

But it depens what you want, its your choice.

Well as i said.

Here = untouched
Somewhere else = not always untouched

And for getting in, get at least 10 contributing posts.

And welcome to Betaarchive i hope you stay will be pleasant.

Yeh, that's what has been said all along...

The 'MSBP' Torrent version includes a generic Vista crack that (iirc) runs on first boot. I also remember people reporting it doesn't actually work anyway.

Whats with all the recent Windows 7 topics?
Am I really annoyed seeing Win 7 questions everywhere or I'm getting the wrong feelings?

Maybe there should be a Windows 7 FAQ so that people aren't constantly asking where to get it, if it's worth using, etc.

Problem is that they don't read / don't understand / don't follow rules.

I don't understand how hard is it to find a sticky on top of the page than a year old thread buried under 10 pages and reply to that.

M3 is going to be released soon. However it's probably not going to be leaked... which sucks because I heard M3 is going to have GUI changes

No M2 leaks yet, though Win7 will be entering the M3 stage now. We could see an M2 or M3 build distributed at PDC08/WinHEC08 though.

I wouldn't be surprised if I was invited by MS, as they seem to like me :S
Only problem is, tickets anywhere are $200 - $500, something I can't justify spending on BETAs

You think that's bad? Another way to get betas of Windows 7 is to subscribe for the Microsoft Developer Network. Cost? $10,939 USD per year!

Also Technet, cheaper.

But on technet there are only the ''main'' betas.
Like Beta 1/2/RC.

I have even downloaded some Vista Betas from there when they were online.
