Windows 7 review

Post by dean corso »

Heyho =)

I downloaded Windows 7 Build 6519 and installed it on my machine.
It isn't a high end computer^^- just normal

AMD 64 3000+
512 B Ram
ATI Radeon 9550 SE (128 MB Ram I think)

OK - as I said, I installed Windows 7 on it and I am really surprised.
I have got more than 100 MB ram free, when the Windowsdesktop has booted and the GUI is really fast. I think, if Mircosoft go on this way, Windows 7 will be good.
what do you think?

windows will always keep ram free though for progs, if you have 2 gig installed it will probably use up about 700 megs

That was only joke... but Win Vista/Seven run much better (smoother) on 1GB RAM ...512MB+Vista (Seven) = swapping
