Is it possible to remove the timebomb for any build that was after the "reset" of Windows Longhorn? I searched throughout the forum, and it mentions hex-editing the token.dat file. However, I'm no expert on hex-editing.

Only build 5048 works with TweakNT. After that, you must replace the tokens.dat to one from a build without a timebomb.

Is there a way to make one? I would also like to remove the timebomb in early Windows 7 prerelease builds as well as well as Windows 8 and even Windows 10 builds.

Just replace the tokens.dat of the beta build by using one from a build without a timebomb. No need to create a new tokens.dat.

Okay, but should I take one from an RTM build and if so, a previous version or the next version (e.g. for build 5112, should I use the tokens.dat from Windows Vista or Windows XP)?

I think any build without a timebomb will do. I do however think its based on version. Like XP builds token.dat file can only be used on other XP builds.

NOTICE: I do not know anything about token.dat so please take my comment with caution

So it's safe to assume that there's no way to remove it in Windows Vista Beta 1 and 2. But what about the prerelease builds in later versions like Windows 8 (like build 8102)? I saw it was possible.

I think that it is really difficult to remove the timebomb of post-reset Longhorn builds since TweakNT doesn't work with them except for 5048, but well as time has passed maybe some knows how to do it.

I had 52xx and 53xx running on today's date with my d600. They require:

tokens.dat patch
winlogon patch

But it's possible.
