Recently I wanted to test some Longhorn builds on my old laptop. It's a Core 2 laptop made in 2006. First, I tried 5384 and it worked without any problem. But when I attempted to get 5112 installed on it I got 0xA5 BSOD after the first reboot.

Then I tried 4074 and 5048 but both of them gave me exactly the same stop code as well as parameters. According to Bug Check Code Reference (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/debugger/bug-check-code-reference2) on Microsoft Docs, the problem was caused by ACPI. However, I couldn't find any settings of ACPI in my BIOS.
How can I solve this?

As you know, 0xa5 means it had troubles with the acpi on your computer. It is too new. Either find a way to load the standard pc hal(don't think 5112 has it) or find an older machine.
