Dr. Watson is in:

C:\Windows\System32\drwatson.exe (Build 3.10.0.103? Windows 3.1?)
C:\Windows\System32\drwtsn32.exe (Build 5.1.2600.0)

The second is Dr Watson for Windows.

How to search if its not there, just try Windows Search and select the harddrive where the windows or winnt folder is.

Did you INSTALL XP Pro/Home or converted from Media Center.

Extract from XP Pro CD.

Example at CMD
expand D:\i386\drwatson.ex_ C:\windows\System32\drwatson.exe
Same as the others files.

Got one screenshot. Seems like the 1995 copyright is because Microsoft forgot the build tag while changing the program a bit while developing Windows 95. Just click the taskbar icon then Dr. Watson will save a dump if there are problems. To close it, right-click its taskbar icon and choose "Close".

I know, this one is from Windows 3.1 (look at the titlebar size) if it was Windows 95 or higher then a normal classic beam appears or just the windows xp one.

This program hassent been changed since 1995

Drwatson.exe in windows nt is in fact the drwatson from win31. It even runs under win31 or winos2.

You need drwtsn32 from early windows nt versions (3,4,5).
