Hi,

To what server (sillyproject or betaarc.) and what filename.. i am downloading a "Vista BETA 6001 SP1 Build 6001.16633.rar" from ftp.betaarc... .. is that the one ?

i sent it to ba:s ftp, which I presumed was the "standard" server which the others mirrored. :)

The filename is Windows6.0-KB936330-X64-wave0.exe

PS The final version is 6001.18000 so it sounds like the one you're downloading is a previous drop.

I think you need to rename the file if you are done uploading it, coz andy havent moved the file so it can be downloaded.

Funny.. i just talked to him.. and was told, that files that wasent renamed within 6 days would get deleted..

Yeah, that says it on the documents on the server too (and in upload rules).

All files left untouched on the server will be removed in 7 days. (yours was finshed earlier so, 6 days).

Just to make it clear...

If someone uploads a file, eg "XPKB76839789.exe" it makes absolutely NO sense to anyone. Because of this it will not be moved until someone (author or not) renames it to something a total idiot (me) can understand. For example "Windows XP Update KB76839789.exe".

If it is left in a non-readable state for 7 or more days, it will simply be deleted. It is in the rules that files must be named properly. People who choose to ignore the rules or simply don't read them, that is their own fault if it is deleted.
