I just started using it but my connection is very slow speed despite I am not on dialup. I tried to release and renew my IP but it still doesn't pick up, what should I do to get the connection to go faster?

Maybe one of your drivers was causing it. I never had this problem before.

Update ethernet drivers with one from your NIC's manufacturer. Should fix it :)
