Have you tried Reset_5.02, I was of the opinion that it
worked for the TB's on the early longhorn builds.

Tweak NT doesn't work on LH 3718

TweakNT does work on LH 3718, but it removes the timebomb, and not the activation.

A Generic XP Winlogin Patcher usually works on LH3718 to remove the activation.

Which? TweakNT or a Winlogin Patcher?

I can't post links on the forum because they both can be used on release versions of Windows, and therefore against the rules, but i will contact you on msn if you want...

Winlogin Patcher.

I have also realised one thing when i changed the date from 2002 to 2007 during antivirus install and after reboot message poped up that my version of windows has expired. So i booted it again, this item safe mode with commands prompt ,than started explorer.exe.I thought it would be in registry and then explorer starts it will pop the message again ,but it didn't.So my opinion windows starts the services svchost.exe with command to check if the current version runned out or not while it's booted in normal mode. It's just giving a clue where to look for the activation verifier.

This sounds like an activation issue. Safe Mode bypassed the Activation check, and this is what the Winlogin patches do. They change winlogin so it reports that it is safe mode every boot, and this is also why generic patchers can ruin some builds, because safe mode is broken in them.

Yes, just install the build using the given date, then crack the activation using a cracked winlogin or a winlogin patcher, then remove the timebomb using tweaknt. Simple, and i have always got it to work..

Does 3718 use a wim or I386 folder.
I don't have this build handy to check myself.
If it's an I386 folder then you have the option of editing the timebomb
from the setupreg.hiv as in any other beta.

In case messing with the registry won´t help you, there´s something, that worked for me in the past (I only talk about Timebomb, NOT about WPA - I were successf bypassing this with the 40111-codes):

I never was able to remove the Timebomb with TweakNT - although TweakNT kept telling, the timebomb was removed.
What worked however, was to convert the Professional to the Home Edition. I don´t know, why it worked - it just did.

Best regards
Jens

Download a winlogon patcher or new version of TweakNT
