Hi

I want to build a multiple lanquage Vista DVD.
And the Windows Vista Multilingual User Interface Step by Step Guide.doc
says that you must copy the lp.cab from the langpack folder on the DVD, but there isnt any langpack folder with lp.cab on the DVD.

And in the vista mui is also not an lp.cab.

Does anyone have the LP.CAB not the exe.
LP.CAB works with all vista editions the MUI only with Enterprise and Ultimate.

Can it be that the LP.CAB comes with WAIK 2.0
There is a folder named WinPE_Langpacks but i dont know is it installs only the PE lanquage or the complete lanquage.

I will try it.

this is just the LP for WinPE, not for Vista.

Download the LP:

32 Bit:
http://www.download.windowsupdate.com/m ... 229875.exe or

64Bit:
http://www.download.windowsupdate.com/m ... 9b785a.exe

On Vista start the exe and wait for the lp.cab extracted into the same folder. Now be quick and rename it to prevent the lp.cab to be deleted.

If you're on XP, extract the lp.exe with UniversalExtract to a new folder. Now create your own lp.cab with the following settings for the cab: LZX and include subfolders.

Now integrate it ;)
