I was bored, so i decided to install Whistler Build 2250 on one partition (FAT formatted, 2GB big) and on the other partition (formatted with NTFS) i installed Windows 7 RTM later. I know that Whistler is quite old, but i thought it's possibly to get it work.
When i open up a partition the explorer crashes, as well when i open up a CD.
At all i plug in my HDD, it founds it but doesn't show up, also i can't use my USB Drive (which is quite old).

Is there any fix for Whistler Build 2250, that makes the Explorer a bit more stable or any tips how to get it work.

PS: Is there any timebomb for this build available? Because i don't want to change the BIOS date such often.

Thanks in Advance :)

No, there is no patch to Whistler at all; unlike Longhorn (ahem*Reloaded*ahem); and yes, it has a timebomb. You know what to do to untimebomb it.

Well i can remove the timebomb with TweakNT, sorry for that weird explanation.
Really a shame, that the explorer is such unstable :(

Thankfully, Reloaded just made matters worse.
