Recently I aquired a copy of Windows NT 3.1 Workstation, and when I scanned it with my antivirus (I always scan files before saving them) Avast said it was infected. Here are the details:

File: Rasser.dll (compressed Rasser.dl_)
Virus found: Win32:Warezov-MF [Wrm]

By surfing the net I've found that this virus is quite new compared to NT 3.1, and moreover all NT 3.1 files on the net seem to be infected by this virus (even the copies on BA server).

Could that be a false positive? If so, do you think I should tell Avast team that (also in order not to display a virus alert every time I do a full scan)?

Thanks everyone in advance

It's a false positive, Rasser has something to do with remote access and COM ports I believe. So basically it works in the same way a worm would in accessing other computers.
