I never really had an "official" CD per-se for Windows or anything.
All burnt media.

Go-go-go piracy when I was younger and go-go-go Volume Licensing today.
Those self-extracting Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 3 EXE files make using nLite so much easier, I swear.

Saved me a whole lot of time, it did.

Where do you want to go today?

Favourite OS
All Microsoft operating systems!
My first would have been a Windows 95 CD-ROM, which we had in a Windows 95 CD-ROM Package along with our 486 PC, but I'm afraid it got thrown away. We still have the Introducing Windows 95 Manual though. It wasn't really mine either, it was ours.

Otherwise, my first Windows CD-ROM was a Windows 95 OSR2.1 OEM CD-ROM that came attachted to a Microsoft Windows 95 Dell OEM Manual. I still have the manual but I'm afraid I lost the CD-ROM.

Well, back in those happy memories of Windows 9x and NT, I wasn't really intrested in computer technology and didn't yet have a computer of any kind. My first Microsoft Windows CD would of been Windows XP RTM, and it used that ''FCKGW'' key. I got the disc from my Dad, and he told me he got it from someone at work.

Also bought Microsoft Monster Truck Madness CD around the same time as the Windows 95.

No, as that would be piracy! Anyway, I have replaced it with the slipstreamed SP1 version I downloaded with thanks to Hounsell.

I either incinerated it, or it was in one of the many boxes of software I left behind when I last moved.
