It says no key provided, but it doesn't say what key to look for. Which key am I after? I've tried Professional, and Professional OEM, and none of them have worked.

Thanks.

It should be a standard professional key. The one I have on my copy of 2000 works just fine and its a standard professional key.

You could alternatively change it into a corporate install so that it doesn't ask for a serial.

I'm afraid I haven't found any keys that work. Maybe I've been looking in the wrong places - can anyone give me a nudge in the right direction?

Very compressed ;)

For key search on Google or in the forum or if you can in the FTP

Attempt to edit setuppp.ini so that it doesn't ask for a key

Google comes up with viruses, and keys aren't given out on the forum of the FTP: it's against site rules, since Windows 2000 is warez. If I hadn't to worry about that, I'd've just asked for a key.

Thanks, it works now, I altered the 'setupp.ini' file.

Bit obvious, I know, but it's very cut-down, isn't it? Where can I get the full thing? There's loads of them on the FTP, but they're all either German, or they're Server versions.

Thanks.

@Marktuson, Windows 2000 is still considered warez and you said it your self, look 2 posts above.

And they striped down most extra components, thats why its so small.

There should be some accessible on the BA account of my Milestone 1 server ;)

Yes, I understand that - I was just wondering, because there are other things like FLP on the FTP, and I was always given to understand that it was the keys that were not to be doled out freely, anyway.

I'll just have to get on the uTorrent again :).

FLP is there because FLP is not downloadable from most sources because its a special version also on torrents is not available.
