I get a 0x000000ED on boot.
PCem specs:
Award 430VX PCI
Mobile Pentium MMX 300MHz
256 megs of RAM
S3 Trio64

Does chkdsk work? Did you change motherboards or anything since last successful boot?

What size is your virtual hard-disk?

300 MHz is too much and is certainly not emulated at 100% speed. Wouldn't be surprised if something was timing out. You should change the CPU to Pentium 90.

You sure about that? XP's minimum is 233MHz.

I am talking about emulation speed. PCem and friends break down like a house of cards when running under 100%. It's not so bad when it's around 80-90%, but below that be dragons.

When do you get the BSOD? Also try using 86box, with an Epox P55-VA with a standard P120, 96MB RAM and 4GB HDD. Also what edition are you installing?

So you know how it fades in to the Windows XP logo with the Windows XP text just under it. Before it completely fades in, it blue screens. I’m using Pro RTM
