I second the sticky vote. It'd also be nice if anyone has the knowledge and cba to write down a quick list on the different build labs function. I know the basics, for instance that all labs work separately and that everything comes together for releases in winmain. I'm also fairly certain that lab06 is for gui work? I've also been curious what the idx labs are for.

So the list could be like:

winmain = releaselab
lab06 = ui work

Ok. MS is in America.
there they have the 12 hour time format, that means that they have 12 AM and 12 PM but not 12 o'clock and 24 o'clock, right??
can someone tell me why they are using the european time format then :S

edit: there is dev/lddm too ;)

Yes, last time I checked, Seattle was still using American time standards :P

Lots of people in the US use 24-hour time for organizing file names. By using Year/Month/Day and 24h/minute it makes numerical/and or alphabetical sorting easy. This is fairly common for file naming conventions in the US. Even if its "european".

Its better, i used the 24hour time to lebel things instead of using am and pm, which confuse matter in computer when windows would arrange items/data with number first instead of am/pm, so a file named 1:00 am, 2:30 pm and 3:15 am would happen in that order.
The 24-hour time elimates this problem. I don't know why north america used am and pm instead. They aren't used in the rest of europe.

Wow, I have been looking for this for a while now. I didn't even know someone put this kind of info together. Thanks a million! Now I can re-organize all the ill-named builds on my hard drive.

Sorry, I forgot to ask...are we supposed to use these to name the ISOs?
