Enabling Javascript support ie6 / ie7

Post by hougtimo »

Hi all

I have a customer who says he is getting a message "You need to enable Javascript in your browser"

Normally this is an easy fix as you just direct the customer to enable active scripting.

However this is not working for him, it still says it.

We've had him uncheck it, re-check it, clear cache etc...

Still not working.

Any ideas?

It could be disabled in the security tab. Also, if your customer is running Windows Server 2003, "Enhanced Security Configuration" might be enabled and blocking JavaScript for non-trusted sites.
