Does the NET USER [USERNAME] [NEW PASSWORD] commend work, as on a standalone machine?

You have 2 topics that are the same.

With XP on a DOMAIN, with a server, change it on the server.

With XP on a WORKGROUP, without a server, you can change via the administrator account or an account with administrator access the password.

To log on the administrator account with the windows welcome screen press
CTRL+ALT+DEL 2 times.
Does not work on the home edition.

Or with the classic (windows 2000) log on screen, press CTRL+ALT+DEL when logged in and change password via the change password button.

OK, thanks :). Not that I was going to do it, but I wanted to make sure about it, because I was joking around and someone saw me type the commands I mentioned; I wanted to make sure they didn't work:).

Thanks.

PS, sorry about the double post, I was using a college network workstation, and it was going very slow.
