Howcome beta versions of Windows like 95 asked you for a beta site id before you could install it, whereas with the XP/Vista betas it didn't? You would of thought that it would of only just been now Microsoft were adding techologies that stop just anyone from installing beta releases.

I think it's on the server, listed as something like Memphis Time Crack or similar ;)

But the XP betas and Longhorn builds, they are easy to crack the activation and timebomb if you think about it, whereas with 7, the timebomb is hardcoded. Has anybody found a way to crack the timebomb in the 7 builds yet? 8-)

They're easy because somebody else already did the work, and made it easy for you,
Not because it was easy for you to work out on your own. 8-)
Is this topic about windows 95 betas, or just another thread you made to dribble in,
because you really are getting on my nerves with your incessant rantings with"I want this"
and "I want that" then you use the " :x " emoticon when someone states the obvious, like you
have the right to be mad at someone.
8-)

I always thought that the timebomb in the Win9x and WinME betas was impossible to crack. Lets hope that somebody will one day find a timebomb crack for the Windows 7 builds!
