I have a Windows 95A installed in a VM, and I have Plus and IE 4 installed, and the build number is 950, wasnt 950 the final beta?

950 is the RTM.

950A also
950B = 1111
950C = 1235 (or similar).

Those early versions of Windows didn't have build numbers. It wasn't until (at least) a little bit later that they adopted the build number scheme.

They head 1 set of build numbers for Win 3.x, 1 for Win NT(3.1-Vista), 1 set for Win 9x(95-Me and Neptune, which had a 9x build number regardless of its NT kernel).

I think there should be a sticky defining "build" and "build number", with extensive examples.

likely fake. Windows 95C was released at 1997, Windows 98 released in 1998. Unless Microsoft decided to create two OSRs for Windows 95 in just one year it's unlikely that 95d/95e exists.

This list is damn old and hasnt been upgraded for years now. Also, its full of half-truths and fakes, dont rely on just such a list. The latest&only really updated list is the mwcb, on www.microsoftwindowscollectionbook.com, if you find something there, its real.

Just a correction: Nothing on my/tpemail's check-list is fake, or half-true, all is real, or at least such is my opinion on the matter. And the one linked above is the original check-list, on which my/tpemail's is based, and which was never touched by anyone from this forum. ;)

Code:

then? We all know that there never was such a thing, The beta versions have just been named "Windows" and not Pegasus 0.99 ..... In my

On the list by OBrasilo, I *think* that those are in red (meaning highly doubted)

EDIT: That is actually not OBrasilo's list... This is where his list came from I think...
