Hi! During upgrade from Windows 3.1 to Windows 95 build 263 I got protection error. I used file FIX95CPU and safe mode and still nothing! I'm installing it on Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 on Windows 7. I need a fix to install it. Thanks!

Make sure it gets detected by the BIOS and that the boot order is correct... What is your config?

86Box is NOT PCem, and likewise PCem is not 86Box, there are major differences in 86Box.

This one is from my 86Box hdd.

- Caveria: You're trying to install Windows 95 on a Generic XT clone with an 8088, you need at least a 386, so change the machine. Also, to boot from the CD, you need to emulate something like one of the two ASUS machines or the Epox P55-VA.

No. Why would you do this? 8-)

FIX95CPU is for the final releases of Windows 95 ONLY. It does not support any Beta version. You've basically guaranteed yourself failure by trying this with a version so far removed from a final release.
