I tried running Windows 95 Build 420 on the following revisions of PCem, and it worked great:

PCem 9 rev 216
PCem 9 rev 241
PCem 9 rev 310
PCem 9 rev 334
PCem 9 rev 335
PCem-X 20150110

There is however, one problem. No matter which emulated sound card I decide to use, sound is very choppy, and in some cases, inaudible. My config for this build has the following specs:

BIOS: Award SiS 496/497
CPU: Pentium Overdrive/83
RAM: 32MB
HDD: 503MB
Video Card: Tseng ET4000
Sound Card: Basically every option was in use at one point.
OS: Windows 95 Build 420 (But that's obvious, isn't it?)

If it matters, my laptop config is:
CPU: AMD A10-4655M APU @ 2 GHz
RAM: 8GB
HDD: 1TB
OS: Windows 10 Build 10532

Can anyone help me get proper sound?

Unless you feel like rewriting PCem to be multithreaded, and optimizing it...

Well, okay then. I'll try a more powerful machine, and see if sound stutters less there. Thanks for the info.

Sound should perform better on the latest git branch of pcem-X. You just need to compile it, since Battler doesn't really release executables too often.

Thanks for that. However, I'm now using DOSBox-SVN (of all programs, this was literally a 'last resort' situation) to run this build. When compiled right, it runs Windows 95 builds just fine.
