"Jaguar" was the codename for MS-DOS 7.0 Retail (canceled). Major features included more powerful and consistent command-line options, improved NLS support, Flash Memory File system, etc. The MS-DOS 7.0 Core which was later the base of Chicago (and W95) was codenamed "Cougar". But before Chicago, there was a plan to port Windows NT to DOS and create "Panther", a Windows operating environment to run atop Cougar. This project was eventually canceled and replaced with Chicago.

Strange that they used all the Mac OS X codenames (which came later of course) - some people also say that there was a "Windows ME 2.0" that was codenamed Tiger, but I doubt that is true as Win9x was dead by then and everyone knew it.

And yes, Cougar is the codename for the next version of SBS, based on Server 2008, while Centro is the mid-sized business server.

This Chicago build isn't DOS 7.
Don't mean to sound like a jerk, but ever heard of Jaguar automobiles?

(If I do sound like a jerk on the above sentence, I truly am sorry.
I don't want to cause any flame wars, as I am a noob)

Nobody said THIS build of chicago was DOS 7.
It's the DOS version in this build of Chicago is build 7, & is codenamed
Jaguar, or at least the 32bit protected mode.

That's weird since Apple have trademarked Cougar (and Lynx but that isn't important) for a future version of OS X.
