What font does Windows 1.0 DR5 use?

Post by ComputerHunter »

I am wondering how to convert the font WINDOWS.FON to the modern day format? I know there are at least 2 font in that file: document and terminal. If anybody can help me to convert it to the Windows 3.x format, then that would be great.

Depends on whether or not the FON format in DR5 is the same as in the final version or not. Not sure about 3.0, but I know 2.0 introduced a new font format and a tool to convert from old to new.

If it's not the same then some reverse engineering will be required to figure out the format first, then probably write a tool that does the job for you.

Taking a look at the font, they are different. The one in DR5 does not have a header.
