They're back and with the latest release of IPB. Not to mention sexy skins! :)

Hope this increases activity to a great board,
Troy

EDIT: If this is in the wrong forum, I apologize to the staff. Please move this if you can. Thanks!

Im glad people are staying here. Why join an unreliable forum? They shouldn't be "coming back" they should be there all the time.

The last time I looked at that site I noticed that it was being run by the people who did all that password-stealing stuff a while back, so I've avoided it.

Its them? Thats already made me have second thoughts about even signing up. I wouldn't trust them after what happened previously.

I'm pretty sure it is them, or at least it was those two before it went off and was started up again

Yeah, I'm just a bit suspicious of it, that's all. I always use the same password for everything anyway, as I could never remember not only a whole load of diffferent passwords but also which one was for what! I think we have everything we need here anyway ;)

I don't think discussing your own passwords here is suitable as some of you suspect that the admins on the forum (EDIT: I mean on OSBS...Sorry for making you misunderstand) cracks password.... :?
Just a little opinion....

Anyway my password vary according to my feelings...

It's not this forum where passwords get cracked (well not that I know of anyway ;)) - it was some of the admins of the other one (OSBS) that cracked some passwords a while ago, that's why I said I was a bit suspicious of that site and didn't really want to go there.

*Sigh*

All they did was crack the passwords of the old OSBA DB (Which from the month/year it was dumped, it had a pretty big Vulnerability in it), anyone could of done it, because it was so simple (I even did it to see when I got handed a copy of the DB, such a easy task).

Very much doubting they can do that now, because you cannot modify IPB to even do a mod to catch peoples passwords, mainly because tempering with the board software will make it [censored] itself, and also, the new encryption algorithm is, how do I put this, is still uncrackable.

When I said they were back, I meant they were now using IPB rather than PHB or whatever. Personally, I prefer IPB over PHB. Let's not start a IPB vs. PHB discussion and stay on topic. lol. Either way, they're more trustworthy now either way.
