One old computer that's about ten years old. It was running Windows 95, but I've given it hardware and software upgrades so now it's much more impressive!

I have about 20 PCs and 2 iMacs and one 450mhz G3 and many other parts enough to build several PCs.

The oldest I have is a tall tower with 486, gathering dust in a public storage. Another one is a 286 desktop I found in a trash bin and it still BOOTS! Slow as hell - snailing along at 10 mhz!

I am currently using ASUS P5LP-LE / PD 820 / 2gb ddr667 / 2 x 120gb Maxtor / eVGA 7600GT.

My next project will be a Sapphire Pure Innovation mobo with 4800+ x2 / 2gb ram / Sapphire x1900GT / 2x 200gb WD.

Couldn't help it.

All too many. We recently moved house, and we decided it was crazy keeping all that old hardware. I've slimmed right back to a few special PCs (like the P200 with the Voodoo 1 card, and the P3 that still has the SCSI scanner). The number of good AT power supplies I must have thrown away... Heh, the crazy thing is I'm looking at all the old Apple hardware now and am drawn to the classic macs. I think an SE/30 is on the cards.. Along with a G4 tower, and maybe a G4 iMac.. Pretty.. :)

That's an awesome lot of SGI machines. How did you accumulate that collection, just out of interest?

It all started with a lowly O², and from there spiraled out of control.

IRIX is a good UNIX to play with. It's a shame SGI dumped it. Which is still a mystery. Unrivaled graphics hardware (at the time), unrivaled system bandwidth (still), best Unix Window Manager and Desktop Environment, sharp looking indestructible machines (I think I could drop an Indigo2 or an Octane off a 4 story building, go down pick it up, plug it in and it would still work), but SGI just turned their back on IRIX... oh well.

I now have a second old PC. 450 MHz Pentium 2, 192 MB RAM.
Running Ubuntu and LH 4053 (hopefully 4074 soon)
It may be old, but I use it daily.
