ALT Gr and up/down/left/right keys should do it. Else try combinations of CTRL, SHIFT and ALT plus up/down/left/right keys. Happened in college, they disabled that feature now.

Try checking google for how to flip the screen. Im positive its Alt Gr and something. We used to do it in college all the time.

That probably only works when you're logged on. Try logging on blind, and then try the key combinations.

Tried logging on blind, I ended up shutting down.
Will un-installing ATI do anything?

If it's the driver that is causing all the trouble, then probably.

Yes its safe to do, your pc will revert to a generic screenmode until you reinstall it.
