I own 4 Compaq Armada m700 laptops, and one ArmadaStation EM.
I cannot get the damn laptops to hot or cold dock to the dock, and when I try to dock, they crash.
Specs on the laptops: 650mhz, Mobo revision 2.21... 700mhz, mobo revision 3.00... 850mhz, mobo revision 4.00...
Bios has not been updated yet, seeing as I can't get into the BIOS of 2 of them, and I don't have a floppy drive (I did update the bios on one of them, but I cant find the CD for it...)
I would love to update the BIOS, but I need some idea on how to turn a floppy boot disk into a boot CD (I'll search for my BIOS update CD while I wait for an answer)
I would love help on the ArmadaStation EM problem though, it seems kinda strange that it won't dock. When I try to hot dock, the whole OS locks up (No addons in the PCI slots in the dock) and the LAN\Modem cards in the laptops have been removed too...
Any ideas?
Anyone else have an armadastation EM and an armada so that they can help me though this?
