I just upgraded to windows 7 build 7100 (RC1) and now my lexmark X5470 isn't being detected. Whenever I press print it says "local print spooler is not running".

I tried that but whenever i turn it on after about a minute print spooler turns off automatically. This is weird because when i go into properties it says print spooler will turn on automatically

I just wanted to update that my printer is now successfully working in windows 7. I had to write a batch file to start the printer spooler. Then uninstall all the drivers and anything to do with my printer. I then downloaded the latest driver and ran it in compatibility mode. Windows then installed the driver and I can now print whatever I want :)
