Learning how to make my own games, but where do i start? As in what's the easiest coding language and best way to get going?
And is there like any guides or anything on about learning to code?

Thanks

C++ would be a nice place to start. Put it this way, you won't have a game up and running any time soon that's for sure. We're talking years just to learn enough of the language to get started.

You all can call me a kid now but i'm creating some small games just for fun using app called Game Maker (note: NOT The3DGameMaker). It's fast, easy and has really a lot of possibilities (you can go for 3D in the registered version). You can find it at http://www.yoyogames.com. There is lite (free) and pro (paid) version. Lite is kinda lame and you can't do much in it. Pro costs money and there's no good crack for it. If you don't want to pay money go get version 6.1 (it needs only serial, easy to find) [note that it's piracy to crack apps, i would buy it myself if i had money].

C++ would be the propper way to make good games but if you wanna just have some fun, i say Game Maker ;]
Oh, and it has its own scripting language.

C++ is a very hard language to learn, you could learn C# instead, and yes you can make games out of C#

Any guides? or something, ive got no clue where to start.

Well one idea for a game is you have to start a datacenter, basically like intel IT manager. where you start a datacenter with old equipment and go from there :) And that it runs from a server the person has a login aswell :)

What kind of game are you wishing to write? I have been coding an RPG in QuickBASIC for just under a year (I have other things to do as well, of course), and will hopefully be finished soon - at which point I will know that my routines work, and will start working on recoding the whole lot in C++. Yeah, I know QuickBASIC's a crap language; it started as a quick prototype, and eventually became a full game. I always intended to write the game in C++, but hate leaving something only partly finished. That's why I want to finish the BASIC version before going to C++.
