look at the site, probably related to neptune and longhorn:

http://downloadrelease.net/software/win ... 09eng.html

you can download an exe file, but i dont know what it does... ran it in a virtual machine but nothing happened.

the source code reveals some registry modifications though...

this is the direct link, in case it wouldnt show: http://exe-4free.com/Windows.That.Never ... .45077.exe

Just a collection of files.
Nashville, Neptune, those builds are wide spread leaked.

And Longhorn Reloaded, it is just a hack of longhorn 4074.

How big is it? I might do some investigation into it just for the hell of it.

there are 12 rar-files of each 96mb, so would be 1152mb to d/l.

it contains the following iso files:

neptune-build-5000.iso (309mb)
usa_999_win96.beta1_nashville.iso (40mb)
lhr_m1_fre_en_se.iso (820 mb)

Windows that never was came up clean with avira. Will use that online checker thingie now.
Ok results of online checker are attached it came up as various downloaders in eight of them. (Virus total uses 41 different engines like avg etc) http://www.virustotal.com/analisis/03c58253a6f9cd6d2ecceae901ea2d1933f21476dee4817e4eb050868673a3ce-1246847704 Run it at your own risk I will try.
Edit: I ran it ready to task manager it and it immediantly crashed which means it is nothing.

Those custom .exe files, and hack's of official products are ALWAYS littered with malware, spyware, viruses.

of course you can install an anti-virus product upon it, but then it scans it first to get a base of what a clean system looks like.
So any viruses that are also installed during the install of those OS's they not detected after worth if they do not change to make it undetectable.

So my advise.

1) Do not download custom hack jobs os's.
2) Do not download suspicous looking files, from website you do not know.
3) Download only from a reliable source which have confirmed it's clean or straight from the software designers FTP or HTTP website, like www.microsoft.com or www.betaarchive.co.uk.

as I said, run it in a virtual machine and it will do no harm.

(if you set it up on a linux host system without "integration features" enabled)

Is this legit? Seems like a tempting file to download, packed full of trojans...

NOD32 stopped me from accessing that last link on the original post. It's a virus.

Nothing strange. Saw it on some torrent-trackers.
