My friend asked me a question as to which of the RAM sticks on this page he should get. He has a Dell Dimension E521 and just wants to get 2 1GB chips so he can run Win7. Now I have no clue which would be the best for him I only know what would be the best for my own PC's could someone here help me help him. I'm assuming he should just get some DDR2 off of that page but I have no clue which model would be best for him. He's totally ditching his other two sticks by the way.

Thanks.

Here's the page:

That should work fine.

Looks like they sold out. Here you go: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820161172

Or here, just get whichever ends up being cheaper with shipping: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820211363

So based on the links the 'best' RAM is the ones that say DDR2 800/PC 6400?

For those looking for cheap DDR3 ram here's a pretty good deal with free shipping: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820227365

You have to get DDR2, it should be 800MHz or faster, it should be 1.8V and the cheaper the better.
