One of our members recently asked me to order some of the Server 2003 6 month eval kits that are only available free from Microsoft UK and send them on to him, but as you can only order a minimum of 5 of each edition I have some spare copies. Let me know if you want any of them for the cost of postage (which will be a lot less than what MS charge for shipping these things if you order from the non-UK MS site), or I will consider a straight swap for any trial or beta kits that I don't already have.

I have 2 spare of Standard Edition R2 and 1 of Enterprise Edition R2, all still shrinkwrapped in standard plastic DVD cases and unactivated (they come with a product key that has 10 activations, and more keys can be obtained online).

It would be around £3 for one or £4.50 for two (1x Standard, 1x Enterprise) to New Zealand (all costs in GBP) - you could pay by Paypal if you have a bank account (you only need a bank account, not a credit card). It's quite expensive though (for what they are) as it's a long way to send them so I guess you probably won't want them at that cost!

You are aware that this Expression kit is only the Beta, not the real deal? Just thought I'd check, as you seem so keen to have it that I thought you might be under the impression that it is the RTM version!

I just sold one of the Enterprise trial kits on eBay, making a profit of about £3 :D Not a bad way of making a little bit of cash! :P

I had noticed that, but I saw there were other people selling the same thing and most were getting bids, so I went for it anyway  I don't feel especially bad about making cash at Microsoft's expense :P I'm sure Bill Gates would be pleased to know he was helping out a skint student :D

It is very cool :D It's OK, I just wanted to make sure you didn't buy it from someone and then were disappointed to find it wasn't what you were expecting...
