i want to create a cd that auto installs IE6sp1, WMP9 and DirectX 9 after i click on the batch file, the cd will have a folder called UPDATES, the directory structure is:

UPDATES/
DirectX9B/ dxsetup.exe
IE6SP1/ie6setup.exe
WMP9/MP9SETUP.exe

i think internet explorer 6 should install first, followed DirectX 9 and WMP9

Code:
@echo off
echo Installing IE6
UPDATES/IE6SP1/ie6setup.exe
echo Installing Directx9B
UPDATES/DirectX9B/dxsetup.exe
echo Installing WMP9
UPDATES/WMP/MP9SETUP.exe
echo Complete

that should work work. However you might need to find the switches so the programs can install silently

Run the program from the command line with a /? switch and you might get a help box that will tell you which switch to use to run the installer silently or unattended.

anything unix-like
If you want, you could also do a restart at the end of it all
Code:
SHUTDOWN -r -t 10
