Wasted time? No way! This is a first class gold grade example of how bad things can go if you are put on too much pressure at work. Next time your boss asks you to work overtime or to reconstruct the entire server park "after lunch" then show him this video and ask him "Hey boss... do you really want me to become like this? Because I will if you force me to do all this work....". After that you'll walk away with a smile on your face knowing that your overtime was cancelled and that all your projects got a 100% time extension... Even the boss doesn't want a screaming monkey at work!

Now, if YOU are the boss then take this as a sign. You WILL become like this soon. Very soon. Unless you start taking care of yourself :).

@mrpijey
...You could probably get time off work if anyone does do what you said. :mrgreen:
I do hope Andy doesn't get like that...

I would actually laugh if someone did do that... Any takers?

I wish there was a video of the "chair throwing" incident.

I've always liked the 'developers x200' thing... Because he is DEAD on....

OS/2 was a complete failure because IBM did their best to NOT cultivate developers. Not to mention the whole 286 thing.

Charging THOUSANDS for a SDK is a nice way of saying "I don't want your applications to run here.".

And I remember all to well the days of Turbo C++ 3.1 for Windows 3.1 for $89 and Quick C for windows for $129... And how much for an OS/2 version? Oh yeah THOUSANDS.

It's the same reason today that msdn.microsoft.com/express exists... I'm sure the GNU toolchian has done a lot to drive down the price/availability of compilers but so many platforms still hold their bar so high...

And maybe it's me but I'd rather work somewhere, where people are passionate about what they do, instead of the usual zombie crowd.. Let him throw his chairs.

Microsoft just needs to give up the anti google thing... they were a languages company that fell into the office/enviroment/os thing... advertising, audio players/cellphones/video games are NOT their thing.
