I've been using Server 2003 for a few weeks or so, and I have noticed that the on-screen graphics are slow.
I've searched throught the driver CD, and on the NVIDIA and XFX Force websites, and still haven't found any drivers!

So does anybody know of or have some drivers I can use?

Thanks

Are you sure that you enabed all video acceleration options? (In display proporties and Direct X)
If not, enable them it will make the on-screen graphics alot smoother.
Because you're running an Server OS athose options are disabled/lowered for maximum server performance.

XP drivers haven't worked!

I guess the real problem was that I wasn't thinking about server OSes when I was buying this computer!

NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT rebranded as XFX Force 8800 GT.
Came with NVIDIA-Supplied driver disk

If setting compatibility mode to XP doesn't do the trick, extract the files and try installing them via the device manager the old fashioned way.

If only it were that easy... take a look at the files:

Just direct it to the folder and the device manager will find what file it needs... and you should just set Setup.exe or something similar (should be relatively obvious) to run in xp compatibility mode to try it the compatibility way.

It came up with a list of drivers:

Unfortunately, It does not contain my driver.
Does it really matter that much if I use a similar driver?
If I can use a differeint driver, in your opinion, which would be best?

Try to expand the files.

Navigate to the folder in command prompt.

Use
Code:
expand *.??_

or

expand NV*.??_
expand Nv*.??_
expand nV*.??_
expand nv*.??_

I haven't used Server 2003 since a year or so ago, but the XP drivers for whatever card it is should definitely work when expanded. I wouldn't try installing one that might be incompatible to be honest.

Nvidia uses unified drivers, so any driver within the same generation should work. In your case any of the 8800 and 8600 drivers should work. Doesn't matter which one since the driver will configure itself for the hardware that is available.

Thanks for trying to help me, but:
The install went fine.
Once restarted, I enabled full accellertaion.
I opened the Nvidia Control Panel.
Crash #1
Reset, I enabled accelleration to halfway in the slider.
Thinking that that the crash was DirectX related, I went to DL it from Microsoft.
Went to WGA Page.
Crash #2
Reset and Removed NVIDIA Driver.
Restarted.
Problem Fixed?

By the way, I used the 8800 GTS driver.
