There are such offers also in Poland :) For example here http://allegro.pl/item611053810_mac_os_ ... alnie.html (I know it's non-understandable for you) you can buy installation Linux and customization it to look like OS X. All for 12 pounds :)

This is somewhat questionable because Apple doesn't license OS X on IBM PCs.

Hope that company doesnt get sued by apple :P

There is also the German company PearC that sells them, and can be dualbooted too

It's real all right, but why would you want to buy from them when you can build your own OSX86.

Because these are guaranteed to work, are the price of a regular pc, and you don't have to mess with installing, or any messy boot disks like the boot123 disk

this is quite interesting, alot of companies would jump on making hackentoshes, and the actual Apple branded ones may drop in price to compete with ones made with regular hardware. a $600 Mac? I would jump on that if I had $600 and didn't need a new laptop first... If this company wins their court case, I may just buy a commercial copy of Leopard to put on my new laptop this summer.

Nice! Finally, someone standing up to Apples stupid EULA.

Wow thats a win for the osx86 community. Reminds me of iphones (not that i would touch one), though not entirely the same, its kind of stupid they write in there eula that jailbreaking is illegal. YOU own the phone, you should be able to do whatever you want with it. Purchasing an osx licence shouldnt have silly limitations. But then i guess they are trying to protect there overpriced (although very nice) computer line.

And with this ad, its a good thing people are making these types of pc's but I actually had fun setting up my laptop as a hackintosh. Learnt alot too. I surely wont be purchasing. And isnt this targetted at the more pc savvy? I'm sure you could build your own.

Still....great work. I'm impressed.

Not sure if it's a win for the OSx86 community. Psystar is just bringing attention to the whole thing, probably prompting Apple to go after everyone or lock their software down more. Still cool though.

I remember reading a while ago about some USB dongle that you were supposed to be able to just plug into your computer and boot from with an unmodified OS X install DVD in your drive and it would install hassle free.

I think its easier to use a hacked distro, but it is a good idea.
